You will be responsible for designing and implementing creative visual merchandising strategies for retail furniture displays, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Your role will involve arranging and maintaining in-store displays, product placements, and layouts to optimize space utilization and maximize sales opportunities. Collaborating with the sales and design teams is essential to execute seasonal displays, promotional setups, and special campaigns effectively. Market research will be a key aspect of your job to identify new trends and innovations in visual merchandising that can be incorporated into store layouts. Monitoring product stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment of displayed items will be part of your daily tasks. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of display strategies, providing recommendations for improvement when necessary. Maintaining a high standard of store presentation is crucial, ensuring all areas are clean, well-organized, and inviting to customers. A Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field is required, along with at least 3 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser in retail, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry. You should have a strong understanding of visual design principles and the ability to work with color, lighting, space, and display materials. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a keen attention to detail, are essential for this role. The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and flexibility to work during weekends and holidays as required are also necessary.
