Description We're on a journey to build something new! Come join our team and build new discovery and shopping products that connect customers with their vehicle of choice. We're looking for a talented Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to join our team of product managers, designers, and engineers to conceive, design, and develop innovative automotive-shopping experiences for our customers. Quality Assurance Engineers at Amazon applications and products at the user level and code level, both manually and with automated tools. Our QAEs are not pure black box testers, they are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with Scripting tools and/or user-level automated tools. QAEs at Amazon are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion with minimal help. QAEs would be responsible for understanding the domain and the product in detail and coming up with the test strategy/planning, coming up with the test cases, driving the test case sign-off processes with the stakeholders, contributing to code level Unit tests, test execution and reporting. Key job responsibilities As a QAE, you will innovate our QA processes and develop repeatable and automatable QA systems. You will work with Product Managers, QAEs, SDETs, and SDEs on our internal technology teams to understand features and technical implementation. You will identify use cases, create test plans, define test strategies, and create manual and automated test cases in order to report to stakeholders on the quality and reliability of our products. You will evangelize quality best practices. You will own creating and driving the test strategy and enforcing design for testability. This is a role on an exciting new project where you will be the QA on a team driving data collection, identifying user workflows, end-to-end testing, and driving quality improvements. Identify workflow inconsistencies to optimize operational processes and data flow. ✅ What We Really Need From You 5+ years experience in digital product management or a similar role overseeing the creation and quality of digital assets. 2+ years experience leading & managing remote cross-functional teams in a high volume environment. Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal Prior experience in product management for customer-facing products in a fast-paced environment. Extensive experience in Quality Assurance (QA), with a proven track record of finding bugs, errors, and opportunities for improvement in digital products. Familiarity with WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS), including testing new features, themes, and plugins on both the front and back end. A keen eye for content and design quality assurance, going beyond technical mechanics to ensure the website is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for lead generation. Figma Fluency: The ability to read, interpret, and assess design files to ensure development output is pixel-perfect and visually accurate. Hands-on testing experience with object-oriented applications, identifying bugs and edge-case user flow errors. Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, developers, and other product teams. A gritty, action-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments where priorities can shift rapidly. You have a proven track record of driving significant, company-wide impact.
