As a Teacher/Senior Teacher of Chemistry at Neev, your primary responsibility will be to educate students by planning and developing courses of study in alignment with Neev curriculum guidelines and school requirements. You will be expected to tailor and differentiate courses and lessons to meet the individual needs of students based on their academic abilities and previous achievements. By developing and presenting lesson plans using a variety of teaching models and techniques, you will create a stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors. Observing, monitoring, and assessing students" progress will be a key aspect of your role, along with preparing assignments and tests for in-school assessments and homework. It is essential to maintain good disciplinary order and ensure child safety standards are upheld in classrooms, on the school campus, during bus duties, and on field trips. Additionally, undertaking pastoral duties to support students through academic or personal difficulties will be part of your daily responsibilities. Keeping parents informed of their children's progress by maintaining accurate records of academic performance, attendance, and participation, and providing detailed reports during parent-teacher conferences and PTMs is crucial. Offering student support services for additional study periods, clubs, activities, field trips, and school events like Sarvajeet Divas, Neev Utsav, Lit Fest, Spotlight, and Sleepover is also expected. To stay updated and enhance your skills, you will be required to attend faculty meetings, participate in educational opportunities recommended by Neev, engage in professional development activities, and maintain personal networks within the education sector. In addition, invigilation duties for all Senior School teachers up to 10 hours a year will be part of your responsibilities. With a qualification of BSc, MSc, B.Ed., and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the subject, you should possess the ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate cultural awareness and respect for differences, and work collaboratively within and across teams. Implementing the IB's strategic plan to meet the medium and long-term needs, mission, and values of Neev will be essential in this role.,
