Scaling and Polishing : Removal of plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth to prevent gum disease. Root Canal Treatment : Diagnose tooth pulp infection or inflammation. Remove infected pulp tissue. Clean, shape, and disinfect the canal. Fill and seal the root canal. Place a crown or filling for tooth restoration. Cavity Filling & Restoration . Tooth Extractions & Minor Oral Surgeries . Oral Health Education & Preventive Care . Nursing Activities (Dental/Clinical Setting) Assisting in Dental Procedures (e.g., suction, passing instruments). Preparing & Sterilizing Equipment . Patient Preparation & Education . Monitoring Vital Signs during procedures. Post-operative Care & Instructions . Maintaining Medical/Dental Records . Doctor Activities (General Practitioners or Specialists) Diagnosis & Treatment Planning based on symptoms and test results. Prescribing Medications for infections, pain, etc. Referral to Specialists (e.g., Endodontists for root canals). Monitoring Chronic Conditions (diabetes, which impacts dental health). Providing Anesthesia Clearance for complex dental procedures. Patient Counseling & Health Education .
