As a Network Specialist II at OSTTRA India, you will be a vital member of the Technology team responsible for building, supporting, and protecting the applications that operate the network. The team comprises Capital Markets Technology professionals who work on high-performance, high-volume applications utilizing contemporary microservices and cloud-based architectures. Your role will involve collaborating with colleagues globally to manage high-performance platforms processing over 100 million messages daily, ensuring efficient trade processing and effective global capital market operation. We are seeking highly motivated technology professionals with 10-15 years of experience in Network Engineering to join our team based in Gurgaon. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of Financial Services clients and strengthen your expertise in network infrastructure. Responsibilities: - Being part of the global network infrastructure team responsible for the office, data center, and cloud network infrastructure at OSTTRA. - Involvement in all aspects of the network infrastructure lifecycles including design, implementation, and maintenance. Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent knowledge and work experience. - Minimum of 5 years experience in network operations and architecture. - Proficiency in network security, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions. - Extensive experience with protocols such as BGP and MPLS. - Familiarity with Juniper, Palo-Alto Networks, F5, Arista. - Self-motivated individual capable of working well under pressure. - Understanding of networking concepts in virtual environments and hybrid cloud initiatives. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Experience in configuration management, change management, and network automation tools. - Working knowledge of AWS services like EC2, TGW, ALB, VGW, VPC, Direct-Connect, ELB, CloudFormation. - Proficiency in network automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Python. - Troubleshooting skills in AWS environment. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux operating systems. - Experience with data centers in the US & UK. - Previous experience in the financial industry.
