Description VoIP Engineer III-3938 ( Pls get India JC) Essential Functions: The VOIP Engineer III will have at least 5+ years of VoIP architecture, design, implementation, and/or operations experience in a mid-sized corporation/ or service provider infrastructure. NTT DATA is looking for a Messaging Services Advisor - MS Teams to join the team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for managing Microsoft Teams, SFB, MS calling plan, Direct routing, Operator connect, team and channels in Microsoft Teams, and troubleshooting MS Teams client issues for end users support. You will also be involved in performing change management activities, maintaining intermediate knowledge of IP Telephony, and ensuring secure infrastructures. Additionally, the role requires evaluating, engineering, testing, recommending, and implementing secure infrastructures, acting as a resource for system escalation issues, documenting platform standards and processes, gathering business requirements for system design, and coordinating installation and maintenance of software/hardware on the network. You will be responsible for root cause analysis on failed components, providing ongoing information to leadership, customers, and peers, following company-specific systems engineering standards, and RCA for high severity issues. Moreover, on-call support during weekends, providing technical documentation and training to L1 team members, and contributing to CRQ Deployments are also part of the responsibilities. MS Teams Telephony Location: Chennai, Required years of experience: 6 to 8 Years - Translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Design and plan Microsoft Teams Phone solutions through Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Calling Plans. - Configure Teams Phone policies and call queues. - Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams clients, devices, and Direct Routing connectivity. - Possess strong knowledge of IP telephony solutions, networking fundamentals, and Microsoft Teams. - Enable users for Microsoft Teams Phone and Direct Routing. - Have experience in performing SBC configurations. - Extend a Direct Routing infrastructure. - Manage Teams Rooms and video conferencing. - Manage Microsoft Teams Phone and other related devices. - Troubleshoot issues related to Teams Phone, Direct Routing, and network connectivity. - Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Teams telephony with other systems. - Exhibit good communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities to work as an individual contributor.
