As a Demi Chef de Partie specializing in Dimsum/Wok, you will play a crucial role in the culinary team at our Ahmedabad location. In this full-time, on-site position, you will be tasked with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your specialized area while adhering to Hyatt's high organizational standards. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing and training commis chefs, maintaining impeccable food hygiene practices, and closely monitoring portion control and waste management to uphold profitability standards. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong proficiency in preparing and presenting Dimsum and Wok dishes, along with prior experience in effectively managing and training kitchen staff. A solid understanding of food safety regulations, coupled with the ability to regulate portion sizes and minimize waste, will be essential. Your success will also hinge on your exceptional teamwork and communication skills, while holding a relevant culinary diploma or degree will be advantageous.
