As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe, shaper, grinding, and polishing machines to manufacture precision components. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications - Using measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial indicators to ensure parts meet precise tolerances - Performing routine maintenance on machines and ensuring proper setup before operation - Finishing and polishing parts to meet surface finish and dimensional standards - Troubleshooting and resolving machining or measurement issues during production - Maintaining a clean and organized work area and following safety protocols To qualify for this role, you should have: - Proven experience as a machinist or machine operator - Ability to accurately use micrometers, vernier calipers, and other measuring tools - Experience working with lathe, shaper, grinder, and polishing machines - Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions - Strong attention to detail and quality standards Preferred qualifications include: - Vocational or technical training in machining or mechanical trades - Understanding of machining symbols and tolerances In addition to the job requirements, the company prefers candidates with an ITI qualification and 0-3 years of work experience.,
