As a Principal Electrical Design Engineer at Arcadis, you will play a vital role in our Water Design and Engineering team, contributing to a variety of complex water and wastewater projects in the UK. Working closely with established companies, you will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the country's water infrastructure and environment. This position will be based in Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Noida. Reporting to the Associate or Technical Director, your responsibilities will include overseeing project tasks, ensuring adherence to budget and quality targets, and engaging with clients to promote Arcadis" services. You will lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for water treatment plants, pumping stations, and related assets, while prioritizing safety, innovation, and technical excellence. Key responsibilities of the role include: - Independently and collaboratively working on detailed electrical designs, calculations, and reports - Leading design services for water and wastewater facilities - Ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting a culture of safety - Managing multidisciplinary projects and teams, ensuring technical, quality, and safety objectives are met - Mentoring and supervising colleagues, supporting their professional development - Overseeing resource allocation, quality assurance, and client communication - Promoting team capabilities and achievements internally and externally - Collaborating with project managers on commercial aspects and budget monitoring - Managing multiple projects and colleagues within a discipline - Ensuring design health and safety for project works Qualifications and Experience: - B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering - 14+ years of experience in water and wastewater system design - Chartered Engineer status and membership in a professional institution - Proficiency in relevant standards and software tools - Experience in delivering designs for medium to large-scale projects - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in diverse teams Join Arcadis to be part of a dynamic team where your skills and expertise are valued, and where you can contribute to creating a sustainable future for all.
