To be considered for this role, you should have experience in the following areas: - Acting as a subject matter expert in the insurance industry to consult with insurance customers regarding their digital business objectives and advising them on implementing solutions using the Guidewire Cloud Platform. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of Design Thinking practices to facilitate customer discussions and drive innovative customer-centric solutions. - Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and document business and system requirements specific to P&C insurance products and services. - Conducting workshops, interviews, and focus groups with insurance professionals to understand pain points, workflow requirements, and business rules. - Collaborating with insurance carrier business and SI partner resources to produce business requirements and business process documents. - Learning and mastering the functionality provided by Guidewire applications to become a customer-facing professional services consultant. - Translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications for software development teams. - Facilitating business design and supporting solution estimates for complex product gaps and enhancements. - Providing verbal and written feedback to help team members develop advanced skills in their focus areas. An ideal candidate for this position is someone with deep knowledge and expertise in front office and mid-office operations across the insurance value chain, as well as experience in using technology to meet insurers" needs. The recommended skill set includes a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, 8-10 years of project experience in insurance or technology, industry knowledge of the P&C insurance industry, clear communication and influencing skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, project leadership experience, and familiarity with software implementation projects.
