Digital Network - SME

As an Engineer with a B.E / B.Tech / MCA qualification, you will be responsible for managing the overall network technology for the business. This includes planning and executing new technology rollouts, expanding scope, and ensuring team readiness from a technology standpoint. Your role will involve managing SOPs, knowledge documents, and KB articles, as well as implementing technical methodology improvements based on past failures and learnings. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying network issues through troubleshooting and determining necessary actions for resolution - Referring to KEDB or Knowledge bases for known/repetitive issues and resolution steps - Implementing resolution steps, validating outcomes, and updating tickets accordingly - Escalating issues to L3 Network SME if problems persist or if unfamiliar issues arise, supporting troubleshooting processes and coordinating with 3rd party network vendor technicians You should also ensure process compliance by: - Gathering information from vendors, customers, troubleshooting/analysis, and implemented resolution steps to update tickets regularly - Preparing detailed Shift Handover Reports for existing tickets and action plans for the next shift - Executing various Escalation Matrix (Vendor, Internal, and Customer defined) - Tracking tickets for SLA adherence and escalating deviations as per the defined process - Closing tickets post user/customer communication Additionally, you will be expected to understand the existing environment and propose opportunities for improvement. You should proactively address any nagging issues by collaborating with vendors and industry experts to find effective solutions.
