Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Digital Marketing Intern. The company seeking a highly analytical and motivated Digital Marketing & Data Mining Intern to join our team. In this role, you will help us leverage data to understand customer behavior, optimize marketing strategies, and improve overall campaign effectiveness. You will gain hands-on experience by working with large datasets from various digital marketing channels.

Responsibilities

Data Mining and Prospect List Building: Research and compile information from various sources, including databases, CRM software, and social media (like LinkedIn), to identify and build accurate, high-quality lead lists.

Customer Profiling and Segmentation: Analyze collected data to define and segment customer profiles based on ideal customer criteria, purchase intent, and engagement patterns.

Cold-Email Campaign Execution: Assist in designing, writing, and executing cold-email campaigns targeting specific audience segments. This includes crafting compelling email copy to attract new leads.

Lead Qualification and Outreach: Conduct outreach to potential leads via email and other channels to qualify them based on your organization's scoring system. Follow up on existing leads through email nurturing campaigns.

Data Management: Maintain and clean lead data in a CRM system to ensure its quality and completeness for effective outreach.

Performance Reporting: Track and report on the performance of email campaigns and lead generation efforts, focusing on key metrics like open rates, reply rates, and conversion rates.

Strategy Contribution: Use data insights to provide actionable recommendations for improving lead generation processes and campaign strategies.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.

Strong research and data analysis skills with a high attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive and concise writing.

Experience with statistical techniques for data analysis and segmentation is a plus.

Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools is desirable.

A self-starter who is results-oriented and eager to learn the latest lead generation strategies.
