Digital Engagement Platforms Architect

Role Overview: You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end architecture of digital engagement platforms, including Drupal (backend), NextJS (frontend), Salesforce Commerce, Stibo PIM, VoltMX, and social media integrations. As the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for architecture discussions with internal stakeholders, you will design and govern integration patterns across platforms to ensure data consistency, performance, and security. Additionally, you will collaborate with hosting providers and internal teams to optimize infrastructure and define and enforce architectural standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Own the end-to-end architecture of digital engagement platforms - Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for architecture discussions - Design and govern integration patterns across platforms - Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards - Collaborate with hosting providers and internal teams - Define and enforce architectural standards, documentation, and best practices - Evaluate emerging technologies and propose scalable solutions - Partner with product owners and developers to ensure alignment with business objectives Qualification Required: - Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field - 8+ years of experience in digital platform architecture within a global enterprise setting - Deep understanding of decoupled web architectures and SaaS hosting platforms - Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce, Stibo PIM, and mobile platforms - Expertise in API design, microservices, and integration frameworks - Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work in agile, product-centric environments - Languages: English (mandatory) Additional Details: Sandoz is a leader in the Generic and Biosimilar medicines sector, providing over 900 million patient treatments across 100+ countries.
