As a Security Control Room Operator at Siemens Factory, Kalwa, your main responsibility is to provide and support a full Security Control Room Operation in a 24-hour response environmental monitoring. You will be utilizing and operating all the systems within the control room, managing incident responses, and ensuring that all electronic systems are operating optimally. Working within the Siemens Real Estate (SRE) department, you must possess key skills including proficiency in keyboard skills, Microsoft Office packages such as Access, Excel, and Word. Additionally, you should have technical knowledge of digital CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm Systems, and a proven track record of working in a busy control room environment. Your key responsibilities will include operating, monitoring, and evaluating the integration of Electronic Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control & Fire Alarm System) with Centralized Monitoring / Operating Applications. You will also be responsible for ensuring the efficacy of installed security systems and associated services through regular checks and implementing preventive maintenance plans. Furthermore, you will record system troubleshooting, administrative issues, security & safety service issues, and ensure effective resolution through respective resolution groups within defined timelines. Managing emergency telephones, Walke-Talkie systems, and supporting the investigation of security incidents will also be part of your role. You will need to direct and coordinate the deployment of appropriate resources to resolve incidents in compliance with policy, contractual, and legal requirements. Communication with relevant colleagues and stakeholders during critical incidents, maintaining reports on system health, generating on-demand reports, and undertaking any necessary duties within the Security Control room are also essential tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and identifying security risks related to technical security systems, enhancing remote monitoring using cost-effective solutions, and providing technical training on video surveillance, access control systems, fire alarms, and other systems to security guards and supervisors. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in complex security control room operations and hold a Graduate degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a BCA / B.Tech (Electronics & Computer Science) degree. Specialized skills in Cybersecurity, Asset Management, Security Review & Audit, and Digitalization / Automation of security operations are desirable. Personal attributes such as the ability to organize, prioritize, and produce results under pressure, as well as teamwork skills, are crucial. Proficiency in tools like Power BI and Microsoft Suite is required. Please note that you will be required to work on holidays and shifts as part of this role.,
