The Senior Recruiter at Cielo is responsible for providing exceptional service throughout the recruitment cycle. As a brand ambassador for their client, the Senior Recruiter collaborates with hiring managers in a consultative capacity to deliver top talent while maintaining proactive and timely communication on the search's progress. They are expected to stay updated on industry and market trends impacting the search and serve as a mentor to other team members. Innovative and creative in their approach, the Senior Recruiter demonstrates outside-the-box thinking in their search techniques. Location: Nagarsandra, Bangalore Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days) Work Schedule: APAC 1st Shift **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive job scope discussions with hiring leaders to establish position specifications. - Review applicants from the applicant tracking system promptly. - Develop and implement effective recruitment marketing campaigns tailored to the job opening. - Utilize sophisticated Boolean search language to source candidates from resume databases and networking sites. - Employ social media channels and deep web sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates. - Create targeted lists of passive candidates using member subscriptions and advanced technologies. - Seek referrals from business networks and internal sources. - Utilize proprietary software for mobile and email campaigns targeted at talent communities. - Use a variety of communication methods to engage with the talent community, including phone calls, emails, networking, and social media. - Tailor value propositions for each candidate based on their situation and interest level. - Prepare candidates for interviews by providing logistical information, interview schedules, attire recommendations, and follow-up expectations. - Ensure timely updates are provided to candidates regarding their application status and interview progress. - Maintain awareness of the interest levels and concerns of top candidates throughout the process. - Conduct professional phone interviews with industry-specific questions, adapting as needed. - Address challenging conversations to gather relevant information. - Assess candidate fit with team dynamics and company culture. - Administer skills testing as necessary and evaluate results. - Review background and reference information when required. - Keep candidates engaged during the recruitment process. - Continuously build a talent pipeline to have multiple candidates available for consideration. - Keep hiring managers informed of any market changes affecting the hiring process or talent pool. - Present job offers and facilitate candidate acceptance. - Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards. - Demonstrate expertise in the relevant segment, practice, or industry. - Provide accurate and regular reports on recruitment activities. - Identify and address challenges in searches by collaborating with leadership and hiring managers. - Maintain proactive and transparent communication with hiring managers. - Perform any other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** **Education:** - Bachelor's degree in business, management, human resources, engineering, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience will be considered. **Experience:** - Minimum of seven or more years of results-oriented recruiting experience in an in-house, RPO, or agency setting. **Exposure:** - Demonstrated expertise in a niche segment or industry. - Proficient in utilizing recruiting technologies to enhance efficiency. - Adherence to compliance documentation and processes. - Experience in deep web sourcing techniques. Position Summary : As a Director in the Payments Consulting practice at EY India, you will lead large-scale, complex engagements in the payments domain, working with issuing and banks, payment system operators, fintechs, and regulators You will drive business development, key account management, thought leadership, solution innovation, and delivery excellence across areas such as real-time payments, card payments, cross-border schemes, digital currencies, payment regulations, and modernization programs You will also contribute significantly to business development, client relationship management, and talent mentoring within the practice Key Responsibilities: Engagement Delivery & Client Advisory Lead multi-disciplinary project teams delivering strategy, operating model, risk, and technology transformation programs in the payments ecosystem. Advise clients on real-time payments, cross-border initiatives (e.g., Nexus, SWIFT), CBDCs, ISO 20022 migration, and regulatory compliance (e.g., RBI guidelines, PFMI). Implement large scale programs focusing on credit/debit/prepaid card transformation for consumer and commercial clients Design, assess, and implement payment architectures, including scheme governance, operational resilience, settlement models, and clearing frameworks. Oversee the delivery of high-quality, on-time, and on-budget consulting engagements, ensuring compliance with EYs risk and quality standards. Business Development Develop go-to-market strategies for EYs payments offerings in India Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in banks, fintechs, schemes, and payment regulators. Lead proposal development, pitch preparation, and contract negotiations for consulting assignments. Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities in adjacent areas such as digital banking, AML/fraud, and fintech regulation. Thought Leadership & Practice Building Develop white papers, PoVs, and industry insights on payments innovation, regulatory shifts, and global best practices. Represent EY in industry forums, working groups (e.g., GFF, PCI, DLAI, etc.), and public policy discussions. Contribute to the build-out of service offerings and digital accelerators in payments advisory. Lead and mentor a team of consultants, managers, and senior managers to build internal capability and expertise. Qualification Preferred Qualifications: MBA, CA, or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, or Technology. Certifications in payments (e.g., AAP, CPP), Agile/PMO, or ISO 20022 are a plus. Exposure to international payments frameworks (e.g., BIS/CPMI, SEPA, PSD2, CBDC design principles). Required Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in the financial services sector, with 10+ years in payments, including real-time payments, retail/domestic schemes, cross-border systems, or cards. Demonstrated leadership in consulting or industry roles with banks, central banks, or payment networks (e.g., NPCI, SWIFT, VISA/Mastercard, PayNet, FPS UK, FedNow). In-depth knowledge of payments regulations, operational frameworks, risk (incl. PFMI), scheme governance, and digital transformation in the payments space. Prior experience managing large transformation projects, regulatory engagements, or product rollouts. Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and leading high-performance teams.
