Qualification: ITI in Diesel Mechanic or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair, preferably in the marine or shipbuilding industry. Job Description: Perform maintenance, overhauling, and repairs of marine diesel engines and auxiliary systems. Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot engine issues and mechanical failures. Carry out routine preventive maintenance of diesel-powered machinery and systems on ships. Read and interpret technical manuals and drawings. Maintain records of service and repair activities. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards specific to the shipbuilding industry. Coordinate with engineers and other technicians for smooth operations.
