You will be working as a full-time on-site Product/Component Designer with Shaya Lighting in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for visual design, product/component design, and user research. Your daily tasks will include creating design concepts, coordinating with vendors for development, understanding and creating drawings for Die/Moulds, and applying design thinking to develop innovative products and solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. To excel in this role, you should have 3-4 years of experience in the Lighting or related industry. Skills in Visual Design, Product Design, Die/Mould Designs, CNC, Lathe, and Machine shop dies tools exposure are required. Experience with Design Thinking and User Research will be beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, innovation capability, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are crucial. Exposure to handling and working with Vendors is expected. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical (BE, B.Tech, etc.) is necessary, with expertise in Industrial/Product Design or a related field. Previous experience in the lighting or related industry will be an advantage. The compensation for this role will be as per industry standards, with an increment based on your current compensation.
