Key Responsibilities: Operate and program EDM machines (Wire Cut / Die Sinker) for tool and component manufacturing. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Monitor EDM processes and make adjustments to achieve high-precision finishes and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of EDM machines. Collaborate with design and tool engineers for optimization of tooling design and manufacturing processes. Maintain documentation of work, including daily reports, machine logs, and production records. Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Skills Required: Sound knowledge of EDM operations, including Wire Cut and Die Sinker machines. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and toolroom equipment. Role & responsibilities Manufacturing and maintenance of press tools, forging dies (hot & cold), jigs, fixtures, and gauges used in the production of engine valves and related components. Deep understanding and hands-on experience in advanced tool manufacturing techniques including taper fit, press fit, push fit, and shrink fit . Proficient in the selection of die steels and setting hardness parameters according to forging and press tool requirements. Proficient in operating and guiding all tool room machines (lathe, milling, grinding, EDM, wire-cut, etc.) and setting machine parameters for complex tools. Capable of interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T for high-precision tooling. Independently handle tool planning and scheduling based on the Production Planning & Control (PPC) plan . Conduct tool inspection and ensure adherence to quality standards. Lead or assist in new tool development , die trials , and tool validation for manufacturing feasibility. Maintain documentation Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve tooling issues to minimize production downtime. Manpower supervision for tool room operations ensuring safety, productivity, and quality. Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools and dies to ensure extended tool life. Maintain strong coordination between design, production, and quality teams for smooth tooling operations. Desired Candidate Profile: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Tool & Die / Production Engineering . 3+ years of relevant experience in tool room operations , ideally in the automotive/forging/precision components industry . Proficient with measuring instruments (micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.). Familiar with MS Office tools Excel (data logs, monitoring sheets), PowerPoint (reporting), and Word (documentation). Strong problem-solving , analytical , and organizational skills. Flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure. Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.

Job Title: Tool & Die Maker | Injection Mould Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker with expertise in mould assembly, and precision machining . The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, and troubleshooting moulds, used in various manufacturing applications, including plastic injection mould. Key Responsibilities: Manufacture : Read and interpret blueprints, CAD designs, and technical drawings to develop new moulds, Machining Operations : EDM, surface grinders, lathes, DRO milling machines, and other shop equipment. Quality Assurance : Conduct dimensional accuracy checks to ensure precision standards. Prototype Development : Fabricate fixture jigs and prototype components to test and improve mold efficiency.
