About This Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated VAS Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru , supporting Ericssons Value Added Services and related support systems across GSM (2G, 3G, 4G) networks. You will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of VAS infrastructure while supporting both planned and unplanned network operations. Handling VAS Operations and maintaining service availability for VAS nodes with proper work focus for Alarm handling, support Hardware/software/configuration related issues, configuration of all Nodes pertaining to VAS domains and emergency handling/outage Support for VAS and IMS nodes/products/network! Key Responsibilities: Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of GSM and TCP/IP-based services Administer and manage VAS platforms and support systems. Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance of network systems. Execute and plan scheduled maintenance activities such as health checks and backups . Participate in problem management , escalation handling , and CSR follow-ups . Collaborate with cross-functional teams for configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of VAS network elements. Deliver operational support for Mobile GSM networks including 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies. Required Skills & Competencies: Solid understanding and hands-on experience in: GSM , SS7 , Sigtran TCP/IP , SCCP , SCTP IMS , Diameter protocol Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Exposure to Ericsson platforms and tools will be an added advantage. Qualifications: Education: B.E / B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication or a related field. Experience: 4 to 8 years in VAS support and mobile core network operations. Why Join Ericsson?
