Dialysis Technician

Role Overview: As a Dialysis Technician at Crescent Thanal Alathur, your primary responsibility will be to prepare dialysis machines and ensure proper sterilization and functioning before each session. You will assess and record patients" vital signs before, during, and after dialysis, and connect them to the machines. Monitoring patients during dialysis, promptly reporting any adverse reactions or complications, and providing basic patient education on dialysis care, diet, and hygiene will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will assist in emergency situations and support inventory management by checking and stocking dialysis-related supplies. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare dialysis machines and ensure proper sterilization before each session - Assess and record patients" vital signs before, during, and after dialysis - Connect patients to dialysis machines and monitor them during the treatment - Promptly report any adverse reactions or complications to medical staff - Mix dialysate according to prescribed formulas and maintain accurate records of treatments - Provide basic patient education on dialysis care, diet, and hygiene - Follow strict infection control and safety protocols - Assist in emergency situations during dialysis treatment - Support inventory management by checking and stocking dialysis-related supplies Qualifications Required: - B. Sc/B. Voc/DME qualification - Minimum 1 year of experience in operating and maintaining dialysis machines - Knowledge of dialysis procedures and infection control - Basic understanding of kidney function and renal care - Good communication and patient care skills - Attention to detail and accurate documentation - Ability to work in a team and handle emergencies efficiently,
