Dialysis Technician

Paras Hospitals is hiring Dialysis technician for Gurgaon location.

Position Overview:

The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing safe and efficient hemodialysis treatment to patients with renal failure. The role involves preparing and operating dialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatment, maintaining equipment, and ensuring adherence to quality and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care & Treatment

• Prepare and assess dialysis machines and related equipment before each session.
  
• Ensure accurate patient data recording pre, intra, and post-dialysis.
  
• Perform hemodialysis procedures under the supervision of nephrologists or dialysis nurses.
  
• Monitor patients vital signs and report any changes or complications immediately.
  
• Maintain aseptic techniques to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
  

2. Equipment & Machine Maintenance

• Conduct routine checks and calibration of dialysis machines.
  
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly and coordinate with biomedical engineering.
  
• Maintain proper documentation of machine maintenance and disinfection.
  

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Record and update patient treatment charts, machine logs, and daily reports.
  
• Ensure all consumables and disposables are accounted for and replenished as needed.
  

4. Quality & Compliance

• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and NABH standards.
  
• Participate in infection control and patient safety initiatives.
  
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
  

Qualification & Experience:

• Education:

  Diploma / Certificate in Dialysis Technology (approved by a recognized institute).

• Experience:

  1–3 years of experience as a Dialysis Technician in a hospital or dialysis center.

• Preferred:

  Exposure to both chronic and acute dialysis setups.

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment.
  
• Strong attention to detail and infection control awareness.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle emergencies.

• Working Hours:

  Rotational shifts (as per hospital policy).

• Workplace:

  Dialysis Unit / Nephrology Department.
