As a Lead Associate in Analytics & BI Development processes at R1, your primary responsibility will involve writing complex SQL queries, building views, and stored procedures. With at least 3 years of experience, you must demonstrate proficiency in SQL and database management systems. Your role will require you to design, develop, and maintain SQL views and stored procedures, as well as optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing. Collaborating with software developers and data analysts is essential to integrate SQL views and stored procedures with applications. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills to effectively translate complex technical details into simple terms for business leaders and data users. While knowledge of Cloud Computing technologies like Microsoft Azure and Snowflake is beneficial, a deep understanding of database management systems and ETL frameworks is crucial. Additionally, you should possess the ability to develop Transition Tool Kits, documentations, SOPs, and artifacts. In this role, you will be involved in end-to-end analytics processes encompassing storytelling, descriptive, diagnostics, predictive, and prescriptive analysis. Driving the development and analysis of data, reporting automation, dashboarding, and business intelligence programs will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should be a graduate in Computer Science or a related field and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Your technical skill set should include over 3 years of experience in relational databases and BI development using SQL server, with proficiency in Advanced Excel and familiarity with Power BI. Experience in designing and developing relational database models, query performance tuning, and writing ad-hoc T-SQL queries is essential. Knowledge of statistical modeling, analysis, and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders are also required.
