As an Orthodontist, your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating patients with misaligned teeth or jaws to enhance their dental health and appearance. Additionally, maintaining strong relationships with dentists and other practitioners in the clinic is crucial. To ensure the best possible treatment for patients, it is essential to stay updated on the latest developments in orthodontics. As an Orthodontist, you are expected to demonstrate dental proficiency, patience, and excellent communication skills in all interactions. Responsibilities: - Utilize expertise in orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers, and Invisalign aligners to correct misaligned teeth and jaws. - Evaluate patient records, including X-rays, medical history, and diagnostic models, to develop customized orthodontic treatment plans. - Explain orthodontic treatment options clearly to patients, aiding them in making informed decisions. - Install and adjust orthodontic appliances to ensure optimal functionality, monitoring patient progress accordingly. - Provide follow-up care and maintain comprehensive patient treatment and progress notes. - Keep abreast of the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques. Requirements: - Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics. - Valid license to practice dentistry. - Proven experience working as an Orthodontist. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication abilities. - Good hand-eye coordination. - Patient and empathetic demeanor.
