Job Overview: The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR department with a specific focus on payroll management. This role ensures the efficient and compliant processing of payroll, the implementation of HR policies, and the smooth operation of HR functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, a strong understanding of HR best practices, and excellent leadership skills Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Operations & Compliance Manage day-to-day HR activities and ensure smooth functioning of HR processes. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases with confidentiality. Ensure timely compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, audits, and PoSH guidelines. Review and update HR policies in line with current legal and organizational requirements. Ensure all HR practices align with labour laws, tax norms, and a no-discrimination policy. 2. Payroll Coordination Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Track monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, and reimbursements. Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies. 3. Performance Management Drive the end-to-end Performance Management System (PMS) process across the organization. Coordinate mid-year and annual performance reviews on tools like Keka or any other HRMS. Conduct probation review discussions and support goal-setting conversations. Assist managers with performance feedback processes and documentation. 4. Employee Engagement & Relations Address employee concerns and promote a positive and inclusive work culture. Support grievance redressal, counseling, and disciplinary processes. Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications. Drive initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention. 5. Learning & Development Support capability-building initiatives across departments. Identify skill gaps and facilitate relevant internal or external training programs. Assist in implementing development plans in collaboration with team leads. 6. HR Systems & Reporting Manage HR Information Systems (e.g., Keka, Razorpay) to ensure accurate data tracking. Generate and analyze reports on headcount, attrition, compliance, and other key HR metrics. Qualification: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations with a focus on payroll management. Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations. Experience with HRIS and payroll software (e.g. Razorpay, Keka) Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Working Condition: Full-time position with standard office hours
