The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects from the initial calculations to the final figures. Duties include carrying out valuations, cost control, preparing tender and contract documents, analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports, and managing project risks, value engineering, and procurement strategies. Qualifications Experience in cost planning, estimating, and contract administration Proficiency in preparing tender and contract documents Adept at handling cost control and budgeting during the construction phase Strong analytical and negotiation skills Proficiency in specialized software tools for quantity surveying Excellent written and verbal communication skills Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) environments is a plus Show more Show less

Quantity Take-Offs: Analyze drawings and specifications to quantify MEP components like HVAC, electrical wiring, and plumbing fixtures. Tendering & Procurement: Develop tender documents, evaluate contractor bids, and assist in selecting suppliers and subcontractors. Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders. Change Management: Assess and document variations in scope, ensuring proper approvals and cost adjustments.
