Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV systems, networking equipment, and related security solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality service with excellent customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement and system requirements. Install CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and associated cabling or networking hardware. Configure camera settings, storage solutions, and remote viewing applications. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on security systems. Ensure installations comply with safety standards and client specifications. Provide on-site training to customers on system use and basic maintenance. Maintain accurate records of installation procedures, materials used, and service reports. Collaborate with team members and management for project planning and execution. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in CCTV installation, networking, or related technical fields. Knowledge of IP-based security systems, wiring standards, and networking basics. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to work at heights and carry equipment. Valid driver’s license preferred. Education Requirements: Diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field. Industry training or manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua) are a plus. Work Environment: This role requires on-site work at various client locations, sometimes involving outdoor installations and travel.
