Areas of Responsibility

1. Responsible for the API manufacturing operations as per annual business requirement of plant.

2. Maintaining Operation budget & Operational norms in plant.

3. To ensure implementation of Quality and EHS Policies in the Plants.

4. To ensure compliance to Regulatory commitments for the products filed with Regulatory

Agencies, manufactured at sites under scope.

5. To represent site wherever required for statutory requirements towards Government

Agencies.

6. To ensure compliance to cGMP, GLP, GEP and EHS procedures and continually improve its effectiveness.

7. To ensure that all the proposed changes in the product, process or equipment are

Evaluated before implementation and timely completion of qualification and validations.

8. Ensure and facilitate the Production planning & Execution in line with Supply Chain & Manufacturing Team as per market requirement and growth plan.

9. To ensure that necessary up gradation of infrastructure is done as per requirement and to

Ensure that the new and modified facilities and equipment are qualified.

10. Review of daily Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Environment and Customer

Orders and take corrective action for non-compliance if any.

11. To ensure all manufacturing deviations related to Dewas API plans are

Reported and evaluated. Critical deviations are investigated and conclusions are recorded.

12. To ensure successful scale up/ commercialization of new products.

13. To ensure compliance to statutory requirements.

14. To ensure effectiveness coordination within the various departments includes service departments for smooth and effective functioning.

15. To ensure productivity improvement, Cost optimization and efficiency improvement.

16. To ensure that the various reports related to Business & Operations are submitted on

Time.

17. To train, motivate and ensure that Personnel are competent on the basis of skill

Qualification, training and required experience for the operations.

18. To ensure the Implementation of all relevant SOPs with proper training and their compliance.

19. To sign off documents/Track-Wise records as HOD/Function Head role.

To prepare capex for capacity & infrastructure.
