The Electrician Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our premises in Nashik. This role requires expertise in electrical wiring, control systems, and various electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations. The ideal candidate will be a highly competent and safety-conscious professional capable of working independently and as part of a team to ensure uninterrupted electrical service. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Setup: Install, test, and commission new electrical systems, wiring, conduits, fixtures, and control equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes (e.g., Indian Electricity Rules, Maharashtra State Electricity Board guidelines). Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Mount and connect various electrical devices, including switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures. Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to identify and prevent potential issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, power outages, and system failures using appropriate testing devices (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes). Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, switches, and other parts. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with standards. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Pinpoint and resolve complex electrical problems efficiently to minimize downtime. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repair. Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all electrical safety codes, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements (e.g., lockout/tagout procedures). Ensure all electrical work complies with Indian Electrical Rules and local governing body regulations in Maharashtra. Conduct risk assessments before commencing work and implement necessary safety precautions. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including installations, repairs, maintenance, and material usage. Prepare detailed reports on work completed, issues encountered, and resolutions. Report any major electrical system deficiencies or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Collaboration: Work effectively with other maintenance staff, engineers, and external contractors. Communicate clearly with department heads regarding power shutdowns or maintenance schedules.
