As a Mechanical/Automotive Engineer with a Bachelor's degree, you should have at least 6-10 years of experience in Engine Design CAD domain. Your primary responsibilities will include planning design activities, estimating efforts, and providing inputs for R&D cost estimation. You will be in charge of managing design releases in accordance with customer processes in Team Center. Your role will also involve interacting with suppliers, conducting design reviews, preparing scorecards for supplier selection, reviewing supplier deviations, and reaching mutual agreements. You will need to support parts development at various stages, finalize parts approval, and manage DVP finalization. Additionally, you will be required to engage with overseas design offices to facilitate mutual agreements, design reviews, and approvals. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong technical knowledge of engine components and subsystems, cost and value engineering, problem-solving methodologies, production technologies, and materials. Proficiency in CAD CREO, Team Center, BoM system, and Office package is essential. Good technical communication skills and fluency in English are also necessary. Desirable skills include knowledge of engine peripherals functionality such as cooling systems, fuel circuits, intake, and exhaust systems. Familiarity with DFMEA methods, drawing checklists, and virtual validation methodologies will be advantageous. The ability to plan and manage activities effectively, reschedule tasks based on priorities, and ensure timely delivery is crucial for success in this role.,
