As a Senior Engineer for the coolant system, you will be responsible for meeting the coolant requirements for systems within the vehicle. Main systems for cooling include Engine, powertrain components like gearbox, retarder, drive motors, and vehicle components/systems like EATS, Urea tank, Fuel tank and water separator. You will interact closely with Powertrain department & Thermal management engineers and cross-functional teams (XFT) to understand Routing requirements, System Architecture. Define and drive design requirements, virtual verification, and validation of different components in the coolant system in multiple projects at a time, w.r.t QDCF. Coordinate and lead the simulations related to coolant & cooling system in the area of powertrain installations. Lead and perform the FMEAs, DVP, and other quality tools for components and systems to ensure proactive quality.
