Key Responsibilities Manage and lead PPAP submissions (Levels 1–5) for aerospace electromechanical parts, ensuring full compliance with AS9102, AS9145, and customer-specific requirements. Review and validate PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Process Capability and Measurement System Analyses (MSA). Conduct and verify First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 for complex subassemblies and systems. Interface with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams on new product introductions (NPI), technology/product transfers, and production readiness. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of experience with PPAP, FAI, and quality engineering in the aerospace or defense industry. In-depth experience with aerospace electromechanical assemblies, PCBA, and harness builds. Familiarity with aviation systems including avionics, IFE, power management, environmental controls, and landing gear systems. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and working with measurement tools. Knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, AS9102, AS9145) and regulatory documentation requirements.
