Roles & Responsibilities: Understands and calculates all the loads on the parts/system Develop 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings for motorcycle structural components, subsystems including frames, subframes, and swingarms. Apply principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Serviceability (DFS) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to all projects. Choose appropriate materials based on factors such as strength, weight, cost, and durability. Perform structural analyses and simulations to validate design performance under various conditions.
