As a Full-Time Product Designer based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative products in various industries such as Houseware, Appliance, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, and Automotive within the Plastic Domain. Your primary responsibility will involve developing 3D models and detailed 2D drawings for new product designs. You will need to be a creative problem-solver with a strong passion for designing innovative products and possess extensive experience in product design and development. To excel in this role, you must have a proficient understanding of CAD software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and UGNX. Additionally, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying and mitigating design risks related to material selection and structural integrity. Furthermore, you will be expected to conduct Moldflow analysis and recommend design modifications to ensure product feasibility for mass production by applying DFM and DFA principles. Collaboration with internal teams to align product designs with market demands will be a key aspect of your role. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed technical documents, such as BOMs, specifications, and process guidelines.
