Job Description

Role Overview: As an LEDP data migration engineer at Sanofi, you will play a critical role in enabling the implementation of new features in the digital platform that supports the management of Sanofi's M&S Launch activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful migration and mass import of data needed for various scenarios such as upgrading the 3DExperience platform, moving to full Saas, or implementing new interfaces with other applications. Key Responsibilities: - Confirm the target data model with functional and technical team leads and establish data migration plans for each solution. - Design mechanisms for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, enrichment, loading, and validation in collaboration with legacy and new systems. - Coordinate all data migration activities, create and operate migration tools, and ensure proper use of related tools by the L3 team. - Develop resource requirements for implementing the data migration plan and monitor/report progress regularly. - Identify issues and risks related to data migration activities, develop mitigation plans, and design a quality management scheme. - Create and maintain a progress tracker for all data migration activities and stages, presenting plans and progress to program boards. - Collaborate with the architecture team, PMO, functional, and technical teams to develop and document a standard data migration approach. Qualification Required: - Minimum B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. - Advanced degree (e.g., M.Sc) preferred. - 5+ years of experience in 3DExperience development and data migration. - Experience with ETL development or SQL-based data engineering roles. - Knowledge of best practices, compliance with organizational policies, data privacy, and security standards. - Experience with large-scale data migration or modernization projects.
