About the Role

DevOps Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment and environment setup.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and application uptime.
• Support automation of infrastructure and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve environment or deployment issues.
• Help in containerizing applications using Docker and managing orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Learn and implement DevOps best practices and security guidelines.
• Document processes, deployment steps, and issue resolutions.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of

  Linux/Unix operating systems

  .
• Familiarity with

  cloud platforms

  (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as:

• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI

  , etc.
• Understanding of

  Docker

  and basic containerization concepts.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (one or more):

• Shell, Python, Bash

  , etc.
• Understanding of Git and version control concepts.
• Passion for automation, problem-solving, and learning new technologies.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to

  Kubernetes

  or container orchestration.
• Basic understanding of

  Infrastructure-as-Code

  tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch, etc.
• Familiarity with networking basics (DNS, VPC, Firewalls, Load Balancers).
