DevOps Engineer (MS Azure & AWS)

Youtap Technology Limited is a global financial technology company delivering cloud based platforms and white-label solutions that support digital payments, customer engagement, and embedded financial services across multiple markets. We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Youtap Service Desk function. This role is suited to an engineer who enjoys building robust delivery pipelines and cloud platforms while working close to production operations to improve reliability, security, and performance across multi-cloud environments (Microsoft Azure and AWS).

Role Description

As a DevOps Engineer within the Services Team, you will own the engineering and operational practices that enable stable, secure, and repeatable deployments. You will design and manage CI/CD pipelines, maintain Kubernetes platforms, and automate infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code. You will also contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, incident support, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting production systems through incident response, troubleshooting and root cause analysis in collaboration with development and operations teams
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for applications deployed on Azure and AWS
• Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, using Helm for application packaging, configuration, source code and release management
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and change management using Terraform and/or AWS Cloud Formation
• Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of cloud applications across multi-cloud environments
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to improve observability and reduce MTTR
• Defining and promoting DevOps best practices for automation, configuration management, security, and platform governance, and provided playbooks for support and operation teams
• Staying current with emerging DevOps trends and recommending improvements to tools, processes, and architecture.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer supporting production cloud environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS (multi-cloud)
• Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar)
• Practical experience deploying and operating Kubernetes at scale, including upgrades, cluster operations, and workload reliability
• Strong experience with Helm (charts, templating, release strategies, environment configuration)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience implementing monitoring/logging/alerting and improving observability (metrics, dashboards, incident alerting)
• Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, network controls, secrets management, least privilege)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application runtime issues
• Ability to work in an operational environment (Service Desk/incident response), managing priorities and working to SLAs
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
• Working with SOC2 and PCI-DSS is an advantage
