DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in optimizing software development and deployment processes, enhancing system reliability, and implementing automation to streamline our infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with development, operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality software products. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure and applications. You will also be involved in implementing and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, creating and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, building and managing containerized applications, setting up monitoring and alerting systems, implementing security best practices, working closely with development teams, optimizing infrastructure for cost-efficiency and scalability, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Jenkins and Git, knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities are required. Preference will be given to candidates from Kerala.
