Job Description

About the Role

Design, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructure using
AWS
and
Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation & Python)
.
Manage Linux-based systems for development, staging, Performance and production environments.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, adhering to DevOps best practices and governance.
Monitor and ensure availability and performance across environments infrastructure, network, databases, applications, and logs.
Respond to and troubleshoot incidents related to system health and performance.
Contribute to automation and tooling to improve deployment and operational workflows.
Research and evaluate new tools/technologies for better infrastructure management and automation.

Required Skills

6-8 years of hands-on DevOps experience in production environments.
Proficient in
AWS services
: EC2, VPC, ECS (Fargate/EC2), CloudFormation, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, etc.
Strong knowledge of
Linux
and troubleshooting.
Solid experience with
Shell scripting
(Bash) and
Python
.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Experience with
Docker
and container orchestration tools (ECS, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

Exposure to
Kafka
and
Zookeeper
in a production setting.
Familiarity with build and deployment tools: Jenkins, Maven, npm.
Knowledge of infrastructure automation/config management: Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
Understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity practices.

Soft Skills

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A proactive mindset and ownership attitude towards reliability and uptime.
Clear communication skills and ability to document processes and architecture.
