Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at Wipro Limited, your role involves working with application teams and developers to enhance coordination among operations, development, and testing functions through automation and streamlining of integration and deployment processes. Your primary goal is to align and focus on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications. You will be responsible for planning and executing the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain, from planning, coding, building, testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring. Additionally, you will manage the IT infrastructure according to the requirements of the supported software code. Key Responsibilities: - Align and focus on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications. - Plan and execute the DevOps pipeline supporting the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain. - Manage the IT infrastructure as per the requirement of the supported software code. - On-board an application on the DevOps tool and configure it as per the clients' needs. - Create user access workflows and provide user access following the defined process. - Build and engineer the DevOps tool as per the customization suggested by the client. - Collaborate with development staff to address the coding and scripting required to connect elements of the code necessary to run the software release with operating systems and production infrastructure. - Leverage tools to automate testing and deployment in a Dev-Ops environment. - Provide customer support/service on the DevOps tools. - Timely support internal and external customers on multiple platforms. - Resolve tickets raised on these tools within a specified TAT and ensure customer satisfaction. - Follow escalation matrix/process when a resolution becomes complicated or isn't achieved. - Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical/repeatable issues. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in DevOps practices and tools. - Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes. - Proficiency in scripting and coding. - Experience in managing IT infrastructure. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong communication and customer service skills.
