DevOps - Engineer

Job Description

Primary Skill (s): DevOps Engineer Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Kubernetes, GCP, and Azure Pipelines. Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to work. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, GCP, and Azure are a plus. Responsibilities Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems across GCP Kubernetes Management: Deploy, scale, and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance. CI/CD Pipelines: Create and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure Pipelines. Automation: Develop automation scripts and workflows using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu. Monitoring and Observability: Implement monitoring and logging systems to track application and infrastructure performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot them. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and enhance platform observability. Security: Ensure the security of the infrastructure and applications by implementing best practices and compliance standards. Preferred Qualification Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure. Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Octopus Deploy or GitHub Actions. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
