The Senior Business Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for contributing to the overall administrative activities of a business. Tasks may include participation in external audits, business continuity activities, or addressing regulatory issues. You may also participate in activities such as tracking business financials, managing employee headcount, or coordinating other administrative needs. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the business functions in a seamless and effective manner. Responsibilities: - Execute implementation for PlanView products across Citigroup Corporate and Financial Systems (CCFS) group - Provide enterprise solution for onboarding and support of internal Citigroup businesses to PlanView product - Review User IDs, work, and calendars - Create and maintain reports as required - Assist with maintenance and upgrades of software; maintain resource hierarchy - Monitor and report inconsistencies in the Citi database - Act as the central point of contact for technical/application assistance - Document software errors and enhancement requests and submit them to product support - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: - Previous relevant experience preferred - Understanding of equities, derivatives, international settlement, or financial markets required - Basic knowledge of Business Objects application - Experience/understanding of business process reengineering of business modeling concepts, business systems development, and analysis - Experience in creating documentation within standard development methodology - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education: - Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. The role participates in design reviews, provides insights for continuous improvement, and adheres to company policies and quality standards. The role evaluates external vendors and technologies for integration, maintains component performance and reliability, and fosters strategic partnerships to enhance product innovation Your role: Design and detail components and systems Obtain parts and create prototypes. Successfully interact with associates in other departments, such as Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, and engineering staff, to achieve project and product objectives. Be a highly motivated, self-disciplined, open-minded individual possessing hands-on skills. Requirements detailing, design specification preparation, implementation, test, and integration of Unit per the higher-level Requirement and - Design specifications/architectures. Ensures the mutual consistency and efficient integration of the separate modules in modular, easy-to-maintain units that meet the product specification. Understands and communicates the consequences of their design on the architecture. Determines the Unit interfaces (HW/SW) in close consultation with relevant disciplines.
