NTT DATA is looking for an Automation Lead to join their team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. As an Automation Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests in line with agreed plans and strategies for business-critical applications. You will work collaboratively with a test team to ensure the quality of the team's output is consistently high. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, building test automation using technologies like Coded UI, attending Agile/Scrum ceremonies, ensuring defects are raised and managed properly using tools like JIRA, preparing test data, conducting tests, logging defects, participating in defect triage discussions, and providing input into continuous improvement in test coverage and effectiveness. You will also work closely with development and business teams, escalate risks and issues, analyze root causes, and make recommendations for process improvements within the team. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer/Test, a good understanding of Virtualization, Java 8, and Mock server principles, experience working in an Agile environment, and coding experience with automated test frameworks and tools. You should also have experience with programming languages like Java, UI automation tools like Selenium, and soft skills such as excellent communication, ability to push back and insist on resolution, and strong collaboration skills. Optional skills include experience with source control tools, test management tools, build & continuous integration/delivery tools, and development frameworks. Experience working in the Financial Services/Banking Industry is a plus. Qualifications for this role include at least 4 years of test automation/development experience, a degree/diploma in Computer Science or related field, and ISTQB certification in Software Testing.
