Job Description

Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Documents all development activity. Assists with training non-technical personnel. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Core Responsibilities

5+ yrs of experience in Software Development using Java based technologies.
Proven experience in Java server-side programming, REST APIs, Java features (streams, IO, collections, functional development), Spring framework, Springboot, Microservices, Middleware and virtualization.
Experience with Agile Development methodologies is a must
Experience with any Databases
Experienced with Docker/Kubernetes - Preferable
Strong experience in Unit Testing using frameworks like Junit & TestNG, Cucumber and mocking tools like Mockito/Power mock.
Experience with a major cable, wireless or other telecommunic tions provider will be preferable.
Experience with Amdocs OSS Platforms Good to have.
Experience with business and consumer data and voice services desired
Good knowledge of network circuit design and provisioning concepts preferred
Understanding of Network technologies on a service provider network. MEF, MPLS, PON, SD-WAN, HFC
