We are seeking a highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer with 1 year of experience in embedded firmware development. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems. You will work on supporting software quality assurance, optimizing I/O performance, providing post-production support, and troubleshooting system software. Your duties and responsibilities will include analyzing, monitoring, and improving the efficiency and stability of the system. You will also interface with hardware design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components. To qualify for this position, you should have a bachelor's degree in Engineering (EEE, EC, Mechatronics, EI, Robotics and Automation) and possess knowledge of IoT and automation systems. You should have a strong programming background in languages such as C, C++, or Python. Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review processes is essential. Having experience with development boards like Raspberry Pi, Jetson, ARM, ESP, etc., and understanding of different IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems will be beneficial. A sense of ownership, critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are also required. This is a full-time position based in Kochi, Kerala. The role may require travel to different locations in India based on project requirements. The benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is a day shift, and the ability to commute/relocate to Ernakulam, Kerala, is necessary. A willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
