KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES Project Leadership and Execution Implement policies, procedures, and guidelines. Develop and communicate strategic objectives and targets. Ensure sufficient EHS staff and resources. Monitor performance, conduct reviews, and address actions promptly. Strategic Business Growth Advocate for the Zero Harm Mission and integrate initiatives. Promote Risk Management for high-risk activities. Show leadership through tours and encourage safe practices. Stakeholder Management Work with heads and senior management for effective implementation. Communicate with stakeholders and ensure compliance. Report incidents and close-out recommendations. Leadership and Team Development Provide comprehensive training tailored to roles and responsibilities. Encourage team collaboration and sharing of best practices. Mentor and develop EHS staff to enhance their skills. Compliance and Safety Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Regularly review and update EHS policies and procedures. Promote safety rules and ensure emergency preparedness. Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
