As part of the Portworx team, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality Portworx suite of products. Your main responsibilities will include designing and developing cloud native microservices, integrating new features to Portworx products, focusing on design, development, testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment. You will collaborate with peers and stakeholders to take solutions from initial design to production, taking full ownership of design and development activities and adapting to customer feedback. **Key Responsibilities:** - Designing and developing cloud native microservices and integrating new features to Portworx products - Bringing a focus on design, development, unit/functional testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration and continuous deployment - Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to take solutions from initial design to production - Taking full ownership of design and development activity by adapting to customer feedback and handling issues found in unit testing, system testing, and customer deployments - Experimenting with new technologies to push the state-of-the-art and innovate new solutions **Qualifications Required:** - BS in Computer Science or related technical field - 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing product components using languages such as C++, Java, or Go - Good understanding of Microservices Architecture and cloud native platforms - Experience designing and implementing high-quality, testable, maintainable, optimal, production-grade microservices - Expert debugging skills and ability to navigate through ambiguous problems at scale in public/private cloud environments - Proven design sensibility and willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment - Solid CS background in data structures, algorithms, and software design **What Can Give You a Head Start:** - Knowledge and working experience in Kubernetes and Containers - Prior experience with design and implementation of Storage solutions for Kubevirt - Experience working with Kubernetes control Plane development - Experience building systems to obtain Telemetry reports from business services running in production - Experience building services using public-facing SDKs from various providers In addition to the challenging work and opportunities for growth, we offer a variety of perks to ensure a healthy work-life balance, including flexible time off, wellness resources, and company-sponsored team events.
