Description
As a Developer-3/.Net Developer at Rightpoint, a Genpact company, you will be part of a global experience leader with a team of over 500 employees who work with clients from defining and enabling vision to ensuring ongoing market relevance. You will be deeply involved in hands-on expertise with the .NET 9 Framework, including Visual Studio, C#, and ASP.NET MVC. Additionally, you will have experience in developing and maintaining websites using Kentico CMS platform. Your role will require proficiency in client-side browser technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, as well as designing relational databases and optimizing database structure. Experience with Object Relational Modeling (ORM) tools like Entity Framework and LINQ will be essential. You will be responsible for refactoring as a standard part of the development process and focus on making yourself and those around you great. Motivation and emphasis on team performance, along with a passion for building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices, are key aspects of this role. You should be eager to learn and work outside your technology comfort zone, self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented. We are looking for candidates with 4+ years of professional development experience in C#, .NET (.NET 9 preferred), or ASP.NET Core MVC, with a strong adherence to S.O.L.I.D. OOP principles. Experience in react.js framework and designing CMS content models is desirable. Exposure to modern DevOps practices, cloud hosting models, containerization, or serverless functions on Azure, AWS, etc., will be a plus. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or Jira, Git version control, modern web design principles, and JavaScript frameworks is important. Your curiosity in the craft and passion for crisp delivery while keeping up with platform roadmaps and tech landscape will be appreciated. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is required for this role.
