Developer 2 (Full stack Java developer)

As a software developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing code based on functional specifications using our tech stack which includes Java, Maven, Spring Framework, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. You will test your own code, create and apply automated tests, and contribute to standards and processes such as planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews. Additionally, you will perform moderately complex peer code reviews and contribute to the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation, security, and performance. Providing troubleshooting support for production issues or software code issues to ensure the stability of the application is also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be completing logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standards. It is crucial to comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy. Key Responsibilities: - Develop code using Java, Maven, Spring Framework, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and REST APIs - Test own code, create and apply automated tests - Contribute to standards and processes, including planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews - Perform peer code reviews - Contribute to the implementation of the delivery pipeline - Make data-driven recommendations for internal process improvements - Provide troubleshooting support for production issues - Complete logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standards - Comply with privacy and data security policies Qualifications Required: - Minimum three years of experience in programming in Java and web application development - Good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Knowledge of Angular is a plus - Knowledge of Clean Coding, TDD, Object Orienting, SOLID, Agile, Git, Relational Databases, CI/CD, and Containerization - Experience with Cloud and Microservice Architecture/SOA with a service bus pattern - Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design - Experience with continuous software delivery - Experience working with remote and international teams - Good oral and written communications skills - Good collaboration skills - Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Good attention to detail - Driven to learn and stay current professionally - Passionate, competitive, and intellectually curious - Sharp, fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitude,
