A Store Boy, also known as a Store Assistant or Store Helper, is responsible for maintaining the store's cleanliness, assisting customers, and supporting the overall operations of the retail environment. Their duties include stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greeting customers, providing product information, assisting with purchases and returns, and addressing customer inquiries. Stock Management: Receiving and unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and monitoring inventory levels. Store Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, including dusting, sweeping, and ensuring products are displayed attractively. Sales Transactions: Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing payments, handling cash and credit card transactions, and managing returns. Assisting with Visual Merchandising: Helping to create and maintain appealing displays to attract customers and promote sales.
