Qualification:

Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical or ITI in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical

Experience:

Minimum experience in Transmission Line Tower Detailing for 2 Years.

Location:

Chennai.

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled

Detailing Engineer Transmission Line

. The Draughts Person/ Detailing Engineer shall be capable of carrying out drafting activities for Transmission Lines Towers, Civil Foundations and Structures. He/She shall have reasonable creativity in generating the Layout in complete manner and capable of suggesting alternatives/modifications with proven expertise in the design and engineering of transmission line towers, foundations, and gantry structures.

Key Responsibilities

Receive Specifications and Single line Diagram from Design Engineers Team
Check the detailing Feasibility after receiving the design Line diagram
Prepare GA drawing using AUTOCAD or BOCAD
Prepare SHOP drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials)
Check and Finalize General Arrangement Drawing and SHOP drawing
Release GA and SHOP Floor drawing for PROTO Assembly
Resolve issues pertaining to Proto deviation in Assembly
Release drawings to factory for Mass Production Technical Expertise:
Drawing preparations. Knowledge of Different types of towers, tower parts, insulators, Accessories of towers, Stub & Stub setting templates.
